The 2024 TEN Women Speaker Series has brought together women from across Melbourne’s property and construction sectors to inspire meaningful change. The series not only provided valuable networking opportunities but also sparked important conversations about the future of these industries—and how women are shaping that future.
A special thanks to event hosts Hassell, Glenvill, Cushman & Wakefield, King & Wood Mallesons, and Ethos Urban for their support. These evenings of networking and insightful discussions focused on topics such as women in business, public spaces, construction, investment, and housing. The conversations not only showcased the achievements of women in these fields but also spoke to the importance of collective action in addressing critical social issues, including youth homelessness.
Who Are TEN Women?
TEN Women is a collective of passionate and influential women from Melbourne’s property and construction sectors who are committed to using their professional networks and resources to support important causes. Over the years, TEN Women has been a key supporter of the Lighthouse Foundation, working tirelessly to raise awareness and funds for programs that provide critical support to vulnerable youth—particularly young women at risk of homelessness.
In May 2022, the efforts of TEN Women raised an extraordinary $650,000 to support the renovation of the Young Women’s Freedom Program Home, a space designed to provide young women with the stability and care they need to rebuild their lives.

As we wrap up the 2024 Speaker Series, we want to extend a huge thank you to all the speakers, panellists, and attendees who made these events so impactful. The funds raised will continue to support Lighthouse’s life-changing work for children and young people experiencing homelessness.
