To coincide with National Homelessness Week (1 – 7 August) Lighthouse launched the Hope for Homelessness Campaign to incite conversation and rally support for the serious issue of youth homelessness. Proudly sponsored by RedZed Lending we launched our #44nomore campaign. The campaign generated awareness for Lighthouse by engaging the general public at a live activation at NAB 700 Bourke Street Docklands.
The live activation included an interactive photo booth display which called for people to stop and talk about homelessness, taking a photograph with homelessness messaging and posting it to social media #44nomore, with printed copies adorning giant H.O.P.E letters.
At a top line level, the campaign raised awareness about the shocking statistic of 44,000 young people homeless every night in our own backyard.
