Australian fashion retailer General Pants Co. supports Lighthouse this Christmas with their Just Be Nice campaign rolling out in stores nationally and online.
Customers will be able to donate $1 to Lighthouse Foundation at point of sale and all donations will be matched with an additional $2 pledge from General Pants Co.
When it comes to engaging with community initiatives, General Pants Co. focuses its attention on not-for-profit partners that address the issues continuing to threaten the health, happiness and future of our country’s youth.
Lighthouse Foundation provides a home, sense of family and around-the-clock therapeutic care for homeless young Australians from backgrounds of long term neglect and abuse.
Susan Barton AM, Founder of Lighthouse Foundation anticipates the Twice As Nice donation will make an enormous contribution to their Christmas fundraising efforts this year.
“We are deeply grateful to the General Pants Co. team for promoting the festive message of Twice as Nice to support Lighthouse’s work to end youth homelessness. Thanks to General Pants Co. and their customers, we can change the direction of the lives of young people, children and babies who have suffered trauma, violence and abuse and give them hope for the future,” she says.
General Pants Co. CEO Craig King hopes the generous corporate donation will motivate customers to give to charity.
“We wanted to make it easy for our customers to help someone less fortunate this Christmas, but we knew we had to offer something seamless yet quite compelling to get them on board. Hopefully knowing that General Pants Co. will be more than doubling their donation to help homeless youth is incentive enough,” he says.
In addition to the Twice As Nice initiative, General Pants Co. is proving they’re well and truly off the naughty list themselves this Christmas by giving away a $1,000 wardrobe every week to those who share nice things someone else has done.
Please make sure you shop at General Pants Co. this Christmas and support Lighthouse.
