A unique opportunity to join the Lighthouse team in this pivotal role that ensures our residential homes are maintained as a safe and nurturing place for the children and young people in our programs.

The primary purpose of the Maintenance Coordinator role is to ensure all Lighthouse properties and vehicles are maintained in a safe, high quality condition in line with Lighthouse Foundation’s therapeutic model of care.  Lighthouse homes are therapeutic environments that are designed to promote a sense of order, safety and belonging, as well as a sense of pride.  It is important to attend to maintenance needs quickly in order to reflect a caring, nurturing environment.

The Maintenance Coordinator will respond to urgent and non-urgent maintenance requests and plan cyclical maintenance for all 11 Lighthouse properties.  The position will also be required to perform yearly inspections to plan and budget ongoing maintenance and asset improvements.

Lighthouse Foundation works with corporate partners, philanthropic groups and other not for profit organisations to upgrade or build new properties.  The Maintenance Coordinator will liaise with funders, supporters, volunteers and other team members during these building projects.
