Lighthouse Foundation supports homeless young people to take their rightful place in the community by giving them a home, a family and therapeutic care that is proven to work. Through their Lighthouse experience, the young people heal, learn again to relate to others and rebuild their lives.

Young people usually stay for 6-24 months following which they are welcome to access ongoing support through the Lighthouse Outreach and Aftercare Program at any time.

There are eleven Lighthouse homes in Melbourne and regional Victoria where young people are supported by live-in Carers as well as specialist therapeutic services including case management and psychological services. Lighthouse cares for up to 40 young people in our homes and hundreds of young people in our Outreach and Aftercare Program.

Lighthouse is a registered charity with ATO endorsement for all Tax Concessions. We are non-denominational and independent, as well as accredited to provide homelessness services by the Quality Improvement Council Ltd.

To date, with the support of Lighthouse, more than 700 young people have successfully broken the cycle of homelessness.
